PureVision from Bausch & Lomb
It all started with the introduction of the PureVision, soft monthly lenses made from balafilcon A, a silicone hydrogel, one of the first silicone hydrogel soft contact lenses on the market, developed by Bausch & Lomb, introduced in 2000.
This monthly lens is specially developed for 30 days of continuous wear. Particularly thin and with its specially developed edge, allows a lot of oxygen through to the eye and absorbs very little contamination.
Brought to the market in 2006, day and night lens for 24/7 wearability for 30 days in a row, for those who need cylinder in their lenses for sharp vision.
Also launched in 2006m it can be worn 24 hours, this monthly multifocal lens.
Introduced in October 2011, the latest version of the long-standing and widely used PureVision monthly lenses, PureVision2, with unique new technology, is thinner, offers more comfort and better and sharper vision thanks to its High Definition Optics Technology (HD) and its ComfortMoist Technology, that ensures that this lens feels comfortable from the first minute.
Brought to the market in 2006, it is an extension of the fitting options by adding a cylinder in order to take account of your astigmatism.
Launched in October 2013. Very special continuous wear lens with a separate reading area, with a reading addition of two types, a light-progressive addition up to +1.50, and a progressive one, of up to +2.50. Here you have the alternative to your reading glasses!
